NYC – Meet your Handbuilt Dream Bike

NYC - Meet your Handbuilt Dream Bike

New York City is the first leg of the Speedvagen 2016 East Coast Fit Tour. Speedvagen bicycles are limited production and purpose built race machines design and built by hand by the Vanilla Workshop. What makes a Speedvagen special is not one specific piece, but the sum of the details that go into the bicycle. Every tube is made specifically for Speedvagen, and every other piece of the frame is either made in house or designed by Speedvagen’s specs. Stainless steel details on high stress points, seat stays curved to suit the individual rider’s size are just a few of the details that make a bike from The Vanilla Workshop very unique.

“For over 16 years The Vanilla Workshop has developed our own fitting philosophy, bucking global trends towards upright comfort position and computer generated recommendations, opting instead to work face-to-face with each rider. This attention to detail ensures each customer is more balanced on the bike and connected to the road.” says White, “The Fit Tour embodies so many things about our process, it’s a really important part of our growth. We want to make great bikes for our customers, and excellent fit helps deliver a ride quality unlike any other.”

The Vanilla Workshop will have a full size run of Speedvagen OG-1 and Urban Racers for demo, and other custom bikes on display.
