Similar to the neon-clad mountain shredders of the past, the bike is built on a time-tested 4130 Chromoly Steel which is sturdy and durable, and handles like a dream “Offroad”. One will be quick to notice the front fork and rear end both feature a multitude of mounting points giving the rider endless possibilities for, fender, bottle-cage, and cargo-carrying options. The bike’s geometry is tailored for comfortable long days in the saddle.
State Bicycle Co. enlists the 1×11 All-Road drivetrain to power these machines. The crank is their narrow-wide 1x All-Road Crank, with 42t chainring paired with an 11-42t cassette for 1:1 gearing capable of climbing the toughest grades. The newly equipped groupsets with a trigger shifter will be available through State Bicycle Co. separately as well.
The eye-popping paint jobs pay homage to State’s favorite bikes and designs of yesteryear. In typical State Bicycle Co. fashion, the 4130 All Road Flat Bar gives riders frame styling they wouldn’t find anywhere else. Available in ‘Cupertino Pearl’ & ‘Fiesta Black’.
While the styling may be retro, the bike itself is chock-full of features suitable for the modern gravel rider.
