Snow Bike Festival Gstaad

Starting on Rinderberg at 2’000 meters altitude, with a downhill of more than 1’000 meters in altitude taking place on a ski slope, the riders experienced a special highlight of the Snow Bike Festival right at the beginning. In the picturesque valleys and mountains around Gstaad Nadine Rieder (GER) and Ramon Lauener (SUI) claimed the overall victory of Snow Bike Fesitval’s 5th edition. Canadian Raphael Gagne Took second place, while David List (GER) completed the podium in the men’s competition. Despite Joris Ryf (SUI) winning today’s stage, he missed the podium in the overall results. Austrian Elisabeth Osl led the women’s standings after winning the prologue throughout the entire race, until Nadine Rieder overtook the top spot after the final stage. Paula Gorycka (POL) secured third place overall. The Snow Bike Festival has been reaccredited by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) as a “Stage Race Class 1” race and it’s one of only 20 stage races worldwide to be classified as such a highly ranked event, as well as the only one that takes place on snow.
