Saving Our Public Lands | Protect Our Playgrounds – Part 2

7x World Champion, and public lands advocate, Rebecca Rusch, in her continued quest to push herself physically and mentally, is taking action to help raise awareness to protect our public lands. Rebecca, along with Steve “DOOM” Fassbinder, photographer and renown adventurer, set out for a 6-day expedition through Utah’s remarkable Bears Ears and Grand Staircase Escalante National Monuments with the intent to explore the outdoors and inspire people to protect our lands.

Follow them in this 3-part mini-documentary series as they explore the scenic and vast terrain of southern Utah through self-supported activities such as; biking, climbing, canyoneering, and rafting.

In part two Rebecca and Doom continue their bike-packing adventure and cross over lake Powell on pack rafts while getting to know each other more, and learning about their shared interest in author Edward Abbey. They speak to the physical and mental healing that the desert wilderness provides.
