Parks Project presents “Park Champions,” a mini series bringing attention to the unsung heroes who conserve and protect our cherished park lands. Individually they represent the hope that we have for the future of our wild (and free) lands we call our National Parks.
Meet Blake Crossland: he grew up in the Rocky Mountains and now he’s dedicating his life to giving back to them as crew leader for the Rocky Mountain Conservation Corps. Watch his story.
“When you’re out on a trail and your feet are dirty, you’re feeling the wind on your face, that’s when people really begin to understand that this place is special, and it’s worth protecting.”
“Trails serve as gateways to the wilderness, and each one provides its own unique opportunity for adventure.”
