The first big clash of the mountain bike season is the Mediterranean Epic – a UCI Hors Category 4-day stage race in Castellón, Oropesa del Mar (ESP). The world’s best mountain bike marathon riders will again be on the starting line.
2022 Marathon World Champion Andreas Seewald, the German Simon Schneller, Martin Frey, and Simon Stiebjahn started. In the women’s race, cross-country world champion Evi Richards from Great Britain started.
