www.statebicycle.com, the mainstay of the fixed gear/single speed bike market, give the well-crafted 6061 Black Label line a complete upgrade, which includes new colorways, modern updates to the frame, and improved components – all wrapped up in a contemporary and tasteful street machine.
The Black Label V2 6061 Aluminium double butted frame features a new tapered headtube paired with a newly designed full-carbon fork from Essor, adding stiffness and responsiveness, for a quicker, lighter feel.
The full build offers a complete component overhaul, which starts with a lighter wheelset with sealed bearing hubs and finishes with a fully CNC’d Track Crank & 48t Chain Ring with a versatile 144BCD, allowing owners of Black Label to mix and match their crank with top aftermarket chainrings.
Like the construction, the new paint is sublime: featuring the iconic Matte Black, Raw, Army Green, and Purple color ways. The new build comes with a handlebar option of either oversized compact drop bars or wide mountain style riser bar, a flip-flop hub that makes it simple to switch between fixed gear and single speed variations. The V2 also includes water bottle mounts, a feature rarely seen on track bikes for those riders who find themselves on longer rides on the road.
