Looking for a new cycling trip to put on your calendar? Here’s a must-see experience from the experts: e-mountain Bikes, famed Swiss transport system combine on a new alpine adventure.

Put Switzerland’s seamless transport system to use accessing world-class trails in the Alps on a new e-mountain bike tour with H+I Adventures. Riders will explore remote backcountry routes and perfectly built flow trails by train, gondola and cable car as they cross the beautiful Graubünden region, visiting towns such as Klosters, Davos, Wiesen, Poschiavo and St. Moritz. Along the way, they’ll enjoy home-cooked meals made with local, organic ingredients, stops for mid-ride rösti in mountain huts and stays in cozy, family-run hotels.

Eight-day departures are available July 11, Aug. 22 and Sept. 19, 2020, starting at $3,988 per person based on double occupancy.

“Our new e-mountain bike tour in the Alps is unique in that it combines the power of E-MTBs with the efficiency of the Swiss public transport system to get into the mountains instead of a support van,” said Euan Wilson, CEO of H+I Adventures. “We’ll reach the start of our rides by taking gondolas, cable cars and UNESCO-listed train routes to trails high above the town, and we’ll enjoy lunch at traditional mountain huts, dinners made with local produce and the hospitality of small family hotels. A trip like this isn’t possible anywhere but Switzerland, thanks to their world-famous transport system.”

Climb a long, steady route – what E-MTBs are made for – through alpine forests with views of lakes and glaciers toward Bernina Pass, then descend one of the oldest mountain bike trails in Switzerland to Italian-influenced Poschiavo.

Board the Bernina Express train back up the pass, then ride a flowing local trail to Pontresina.

Use trains, gondolas, and cable cars to link trails crossing the valley around St. Moritz in a singletrack extravaganza.
