Explorer Mike Horn’s voyages to the planet’s most extreme regions have inspired many. Among his fans is photographer Chris Brinlee Jr, a budding adventurer who sailed with Horn to Antarctica and discovered that overcoming the impossible requires nothing more than taking the first step.
Shot for the upcoming issue of The Red Bulletin, Horn reveals what his past adventures have taught him about the impossible. Following Mike on the Antarctica leg of his trip, the video shows how this experience has also prepared him to meet challenges like sailing through ice, boat damage and broken generators seen in the video. And just a few weeks ago Mike Horn successfully completed this Antarctica leg of his journey to circumnavigate the world, becoming the first person ever to complete a solo, unsupported trip across Antarctica.
