Welcome to The Yucatán Dive Trek! This was a crazy adventure diving in cenotes, swimming with giant salt water crocs, and exploring the Yucatán! In this first episode we start our adventure by swimming with giant, 13-ft salt water crocodiles in Banco Chincorro. This was probably the single greatest adventure of my life!
Prior to watching this video we didn’t think it was possible to swim with these incredible creatures — aside from Steve Irwin’s antics. Sure, off-camera you can’t see the croc handler working his magic; not sure he would be convincing enough to get me in the water. Instagram has shown us what happens when uninvited guests enter the water of an angry croc — it’s not pretty. Somehow this crew made this entire trip look enticing and unforgettable.
This trip was organized by my good friends at Yucatán Dive Trek, check out their awesome excursions on their YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCe9C… and their website at http://www.yucatandivetrek.com/
