The summer mountain biking season is in full swing at Mt. Bachelor, which released the following video that captures the essence of why pro mountain bikers Carson Storch, Reed Boggs, Kyle Jameson, and Kate Meyer choose to live in Bend and bike at Mt. Bachelor.
Spoiler alert: a few of those reasons include the fun and challenging terrain, variety of lift-served downhill trails, and the mountain’s proximity to Bend just a few minutes down the road. And of course, beer.
The Mt. Bachelor Bike Park features lift-served access to 13 miles of machine built and singletrack downhill trails for all ability levels. The mountain’s much-anticipated signature “Redline” trail, a 1.4-mile flow trail for advanced/expert riders, opens in August. Weather and conditions permitting, the Mountain Bike Park will operate daily through Labor Day (Sept. 2), then on a limited schedule (Fri/Sat/Sun) through Oct. 6.
