LeMond Bicycles is releasing the first official photos of the new Prolog E-Bike, one of two models launched in 2020 that the brand is delivering to customers in February 2021.

Fast and lightweight, weighing in at 26lbs and featuring a host of next-generation integrations, the LeMond Prolog eBike is what happens when a three-time Tour de France winner designs a bike for everyday use. Here are the main integrations:

  • An integrated one-piece carbon handlebar and stem with hidden cables
  • With internal battery, integrated lighting, and cable routing, the lines of the Prolog stand out
  • Bright LED front light is powered by the main battery
  • From frame and fork to fenders, LeMond is taking carbon fiber to new levels with a full carbon frame, cockpit (handlebar/stem,) and seat post

The Prolog features seamless internal battery integration and a sleek MAHLE X35+ motor in the rear hub. The dual-mode light system is fully integrated into the cockpit and rear seat stays. Control cables, hoses, and wires are all routed inside the frame, allowing the sleek lines of the Prolog to stand out.

The LeMond Prolog comes with performance-oriented parts specification, from the Shimano GRX Hydraulic 1×11 drivetrain, tubeless-compatible aluminum wheelset to the included Spurcycle bell. Other key features include:

  • Integrated front light and sleek internal cable/hose/wire routing
  • Rear stay lights and internal derailleur cabling
  • One-piece bar/stem with internal cable ports
  • Bright LED lights integrated into seat stays
  • Hidden cables allow the lines of the Prolog to stand out
  • The Prolog is available in Blanc, Noir, and Rosa colorways, and starts at $4,500.
