Above Alaska: Bush Pilots of the Last Frontier

“Above Alaska” is a rugged, powerful, beautifully-captured short film about glacial and bush pilots from Talkeetna, Alaska. Covering 663,268 square miles, Alaska is larger than Texas, California, and Montana, combined. With only 20% of that land mass accessible by road, aviation is not a luxury in Alaska. It is a necessity.

In this short documentary, pilots Willy Fulton, Sarah Russel, and Drew Haag share their stories and why they fell in love with Alaska. In short, “People come to Alaska because they don’t quite fit in anywhere else.”

Hmm… I think it’s time for a trip to Alaska. What about you?
