To support World Water Day 2016, LifeStraw, a company committed to developing innovative, high-quality water filters and purifiers making contaminated water safe to drink, will launch its #WasteNot social media campaign today on World Water Day. From World Water Day (March 22) to Earth Day (April 22), LifeStraw is asking consumers to help raise awareness about wasting less, conserving more and contributing to a healthier, more sustainable planet through #WasteNot. During this month, LifeStraw will double its commitment to #WasteNot by increasing the reach of its LifeStraw Follow the Liters initiative – for every LifeStraw product purchased by an individual in North America or Europe, one school child in a rural African community receives access to safe water. Now, LifeStraw will increase that to two school children during the #WasteNot campaign.
LifeStraw is encouraging consumers to:
- Share photos of themselves making a commitment to waste less, whether its water, time, food, plastic, etc.
- Use the #WasteNot when sharing on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
- Challenge friends, family and community to join the #WasteNot journey
Please join us in this #WasteNot commitment and show us how you minimize your individual footprint and maximize your global impact.
