How to do a Triathlon Transition

IRONMAN triathlons consists of swim, bike and run, but almost as important is the so-called fourth discipline: the transition, where the athletes change from swimming to biking and from biking to running. In our ‚Transition Zone’ web clip Germany’s top female IRONMAN pro and 2015 IRONMAN Wales winner Anja Beranek, 2014 IRONMAN World champion and reigning European champion Sebastian Kienle and 2-time European IRONMAN Champion and 9-time IRONMAN winner Timo Bracht share their thoughts about the importance of the transition zone and explain why organization, attention to detail and automated procedures are key to a quick transition.
